I say this not only for the content, but also mostly for the fact that it was very easy to understand, things were well explained and also from various aspects. All this contributed in making in it interesting since you could follow better what was happening and the whole evolution of the German scene. Concerning the contents, we understood that under the "iron chancellor," Otto von Bismarck, Germany grew from a weak confederation of states to a powerful empire. For most of the last half of the 19th century, Bismarck's policies controlled the destinies of most of the countries of Europe.
