Frequently asked questions....and their answers

  • My account has expired and I want to renew it - how do I do this?
Log in to Coursework.Info using your username and password. In the "Member Home" area under "Tools" click on "Extend your account by__" . Then follow the instructions given.

  • My account has expired, and when I go to register again it won't allow me to because my details have already been taken - why?
This is because your details are already held in the database from when you originally signed up. To renew your account you just need to login and either make a payment, or submit some of your own coursework. Simply follow the instructions given in the above point to do this.

  • I need a piece of coursework writing for me - do you do custom pieces of written work and how much does it cost?
NO we do NOT do ANY custom written work - we strongly urge you not to use any custom writing service. In our view this can only lead to plagiarism, ultimately if caught this leads to very strong penalties.

We advise you to use Coursework.Info to read a wide variety of documents on your subject area and from there formulate your own answers - referencing where necessary - it takes more work but is much more rewarding. You can find more information on how to reference correctly in our free guide for members 'Avoid Plagiarism Like The Plague'

  • Am I going to get in to trouble using this site?
Absolutely not. Custom essay sites (which write your coursework for you) are likely to get you into trouble, but with Coursework Libraries like ours - as long as you use the site responsibly (like the rest of the information on the internet/in your books) and properly acknowledge any ideas or words you use from other peoples' work - then Coursework.Info is simply another valuable academic resource.

We have many teachers who use and support our site - see their testimonials

To prevent misuse of our content we publish all our essays to the Turnitin Plagiarism Detection Service. This is run in the UK by the government-funded JISC Plagiarism Advisory Service.

We have commissioned a guide on how to reference your work properly - "Avoid Plagiarism Like The Plague" - the foreword for which is written by the Shadow Minister for Higher Education. We give this away free to all members.

Just use our site the way it is intended and you will find it a huge help, and completely free of any worries about plagiarism.

  • Where does the coursework on the site come from?
The database of coursework has been collated over the years exclusively from students submitting their own work to Coursework.Info or our other online Coursework Libraries.

  • What does your star rating system mean?
When logged in as a member, you may at times browse a list of essays in a category. On the far right hand side of the titles are a series of stars, which are meant to give an indication as to the quality of the coursework.

The stars are awarded by users based on what they thought of the coursework. A set of 5 stars means that the coursework is probably excellent, whilst 0 stars means that the coursework is awful. If the coursework has no stars at all it simply means that the coursework in question has not received any user rating.

Coursework is given a rating whenever a user clicks on a rating radio field at the bottom of a piece of coursework. Visitors are allowed one vote per coursework, so as not to distort the ratings.
