In the year 2002 promises were made by the government to modernise the NHS and to keep a high standard of principles. £45billion has been pumped into maintaining areas of the NHS since that statement and modernising others. There are further plans to increase the NHS spending budget to approximately £57 billion. Even though this looks unlikely as a lot of false promises have been made in the past. The NHS has been running for 50 years and is the largest organisation in the whole of Europe. 1,730 babies were born in the year of 2002, while approximately 1,500 people died, 11,000 operations were performed where as nearly 300 operations were cancelled all within the NHS, which questions the statements and promises made by the government...
