Informal Carers look after the needs of a close friend or family member who are unable to do daily tasks alone. They receive no payment for their work and quite often are poorly prepared for the job ahead of them, as they have no training or experience. To define the work an Informal Carer does can be difficult, as each Carer has a unique situation to deal with.
