Report 4: Socio-economic status, health and causes of death 1.The household: In the family's home, there lived the mother, father and 3 sons. This does follow the average family of 2.5. 2.Causes and age of death: The grandmothers on the mother's side both died in their 90s from old age. The grandmothers on the father's side died in their 70s from heart attack and unknown reasons. When comparing this data to the group data, 80.7% of the female grandparents died 70 plus. Only a small percentage died before this age. Most of the female grandparents died of unknown reason like old age. Hence three of the family grandmothers correlated with this result. Apart from unknown reason, most females from the group died from cancer or heart attack with a small percentage dying from stroke and accidents. The grandfathers on the mother's side both died in their 70s from stroke and heart attack....
