How do you define Health?( Word count: 2000) My grandparents used to say "Health is wealth". Money isn't real wealth. Always have good health." I was brought up with the thoughts that health is very important, that health is wealth. Partly, because of my religious reason and also a lot of my people suffered poverty in the Philippines. People living in poverty suffer a disproportionate share of avoidable illness and death largely because of their socioeconomic status. The poor are often trapped in a cycle of ill health exacerbated by the costs of drugs and treatment, hard physical labour, and limited food intake. Good health, population, and nutrition policies are critical to breaking the cycle of poverty and poor health and enabling sustainable economic growth in the region.
