It includes sensitising participants concerning the conceptualisation of gender, its institutionalisation, evolution, dynamics and the influencing factors in our contemporary society. The issues of gender have become axiomatic, and thus seems as an imperative given the modern changing dynamics of our social system and its impact on both men and women, which has continued to generate discussions, debates and controversies in the fields of academia.
