To some extent, the sources show us some of the development from a motte and bailey to a concentric castle. However, from Raglan castle, we can't see the development from the motte and bailey to a concentric because Raglan is a courtyard castle design from the 1400's onwards Castles got more and more defensive and stronger, but when we look at Raglan castle, we can't see a big change in the development from a motte and bailey to a concentric castle.
