In the times of old, chemists invented methods such as titration and colorimetry which have been improved over the years yielding precise, accurate, valid and reliable results. When chemical analysis are conducted, are the results obtained accurate? How can we say if they are or not? This investigation involves using different analytical techniques to determine the concentration of the same variable, copper (II) ions, and comparing the effectiveness of these techniques. Aim To find the concentration of Cu2+ ions using different quantitative analytical methods, and comparing their relative accuracy, precision and reproducibility of the results.
