Motivated to succeed, motivated to conquer, and motivated to be the best. Motivation is the energizing and directing of behavior, the force behind our yearning for food, and our desire to achieve. All human beings need to have either an intrinsic or extrinsic motivation in order to function in life. Nowadays employee motivation is essential and affects the organization's productivity. In the past when I was working at Bilingual Research Services in El Paso, Texas upper management implemented new motivational strategies to motivate employees to do their best. Upper management decided to start off by acknowledging employees accomplishments. Verbal recognition is free and does not cost the organization any money.
