In popular culture, Nietzsche's notion of the ubermensch is one of his most memorable and significant ideals. However, the book in which the ubermensch is introduced, "Thus Spoke Zarathustra", is actually discussed rather little in the book. This essay will discuss why Nietzsche's concept of the ubermensch is such a compelling vision of human potential. As mentioned, Nietzsche deals with many of the crucial problems of contemporary life.
