It needs bravery, lot of motivation, notably because of the change of culture, which can be really important. Depending on countries, the way of doing business can be totally different, simply because of laws or habits. For example, Mexico, a liberal country where every province has got its own laws, so it might be much more difficult to do business there than in France for example. Still in Mexico, if you sale products made in Quintana Roo (Cancun), to the District Federal (Mexico city), you should check if laws are the same (authorizations,...). That is a big limiting
