Have a little read: ... THE COST OF SMOKING SHOULD SMOKERS STOP THEIR HABIT OR ARE THE REASONS FOR SMOKING REALLY THAT CONVINCING? A debate about health, social and financial issues concerned with smoking. Smoking - a word normally connected to tobacco. Tobacco is generally smoked in cigarettes, cigars and pipes but can also be chewed and sniffed in some forms. Modern tobacco (cigarettes,...) contains poisonous chemicals such as ammonia, acetone, carbon monoxide, cyanide and arsenic. Altogether, cigarettes can often contain over 4000 chemicals ( 8 ). Smokers and non-smokers possess equal rights but those rights conflict with each other in the use of shared facilities and areas. Medical research has established that smoking harms not only those who use the product, but also those who are passively exposed to it (11).Laws and private regulation of smoking in shared facilities have resulted in the segregation of smokers from non-smokers and sometimes an outright ban of tobacco use.
