Enclosed are the entry criteria for 2 separate breast cancer prevention studies. One is a dietary intervention and the other is a drug intervention. Assume you meet the selection criteria for entry. Which trial would you enter if any and explain your answer. The two studies in question titled "A Clinical Trial to Determine the Worth of Tamoxifen for Prevention of Breast Cancer" and "An Explanatory Clinical Trial of Breast Cancer Prevention" are both randomized studies in breast cancer prevention. It is difficult given the select information to determine which study to give consent. Had I met the inclusion criteria of both, after reading the material provided and weighing the risks and benefits, I would not participate in either study.
