Dasein's Being is revealed as thrown projection. I will begin by reviewing the concepts on which anxiety depends, so we have them fresh in mind. Next, I will characterize anxiety, paying special attention to the phenomenal starting point of falling, and the choice Dasein has between authentic and inauthentic existence. With an understanding of anxiety, we can differentiate it from fear, and show precisely how anxiety is a fundamental mood. I will conclude by analyzing the diminished, ever-present anxiety of authentic Dasein in terms of anticipatory resoluteness.
