I am going to be analyzing a film in which I will be explaining and analyzing the ways in which 'Genre, narrative, representation, ideology have been constructed. I decided to choose 'The unusual suspect' which was made and constructed in 1995. In this film, I have analysed the Genre representation which is used in the film and identified two different genres which are 'Gangster and crime'. As watching and analysing this film, I identified some different generic codes and conventions which are criminal set ups as these were organised crimes made during the film when they were stealing money and diamonds from the police offices. Also there is drug smuggling which is part of the crime, murders as most people was killed in the movie, also gun fighting villains and even police crime.
