My Chosen topic area is women and film and what I aim to find out from this primary research is "how women are represented in action adventure films" by contrasting and comparing action films: G.I. Jane, Tomb Raider and Charlie's Angels. I have undertaken an interview with Greg, a films studies lecturer who would have a detailed knowledge about films, the history of action adventure, and also have seen a wide range of action adventure movies. I have interviewed him with detailed questions about how he thinks women are represented in films I am researching such as G.I. Jane, Tomb Raider and Charlie's Angels and about general action films which contain heroines.
