This film was set in late 1960's and early 1970's in a boy's boarding school. The film is a satire and it uses the school to represent the society. The school in the film is a microcosm of the macrocosm of the society. The film as a whole is episodic and that is how the director has captured the several different modes of activities performed by the society. The film only talks about a few of these topics. It also gives the audience a glimpse or indication of what might be coming next in the film. She has avoided the difficulty that she would have faced if she was to make the film with a constant flow similar to what most of other films are like. I think one of the most important scenes in the film was the one with the telescope because it encapsulates some of the values...
