Have a little read: ... What is a comedy film? Comedy Films are intended to make their audience laugh. Comedies are cheerful dramas and are designed to create laughter. The comedy genre is hard to identify because it is made up of a variety of sub-genres. It exaggerates the situation, the language, action, and characters. Comedies concentrate on the shortages, bad habits, and frustrations of life and when all of this is put together then the goal of making their audience laugh, is scored. The ends of most comedy films are happy even though some of them might not have a serious side at all. There are many different types of comedy films which make up the genre itself. This includes slapstick comedy which is made up of aggression, fighting and accidents all of this is made out to be painless. Sometimes it includes visual gags as well.
