The Matrix (1999): The foyer scene From head to tail, the inventive Wachowski brothers have delivered the syntax for a new kind of movie: technically mind-blowing, style merged perfectly with content and will have to drag you kicking and screaming back into reality. The plot consist of living in a dream world controlled by malevolent cyber-intelligence which Keanu Reeves, hacking name 'Neo', realises when the plug is pulled. He is crowned 'the one' and now has to fight his way through the Matrix. The revolutionary slow-mo has defined the way shootouts are going to be choreographed, with a mix of cool kung fu along with fast paced gunfire. The futuristic music which relates to this new era, increases its tempo as they fight they way through the army. The bullet timed tracking, portrayed Keanu Reeves as invincible as he doges the lethal, high impact gunfire. The cool costumes, the cool guns...
