The Fantastic - "Blade Runner The movie is called Blade Runner and Harrison Ford stars in it. It was made by the Warner Brothers in the 1980's. The story takes place in the early 21st century. The 'Tyrell Corporation' developed robots into a new generation: the so called Nexus phase. These new robots were virtually identical to humans, they were known as 'Replicants'. Their strength and agility were very superior to that of humans and their intelligence can perhaps only be compared to the genetic engineers who created them. Replicants were used off-world as slave labour in the hazardous exploration and colonization of the planets. The setting of the film takes place after a bloody massacre caused by a Nexus 6 combat team in an outer Earth colony. Replicants were declared illegal on Earth under penalty of death.
