STAND BY ME This is a story of four boys who search for the body of a dead boy called Ray Browers, who had been missing for a while. In the story they learn about friendship and themselves. The film 'Stand by Me' is called this because it is about friendship and helping one another. The soundtrack for this film is particularly appropriate because the children stand by each other and help each other along their journey. The soundtrack song is the first thing you hear in the film as you watch a man sitting and thinking. This seems like a sad moment. Other music is used in the film, some to change scenes, others to show feelings of moments (cheery, slow etc). This makes the audience anticipate a happy or sad scene from the starting music.
