He preferred the suspenseful thriller/ horror genre. Hitchcock was famous for producing horror movies and creating suspense throughout the films. This lead to him being nicknamed Master Of Suspense. The story of Psycho is interesting. A man called Norman Bates (who is clearly a schizophrenic) kills a lady called Marion while she is lodging in his Motel.
