Present A Detailed Reading of 'Band of Brothers', Showing How, In Your Opinion, It Offers More than Entertainment to Its Viewers By looking at the viewing figures for Band of Brothers it is very obvious that it is a very popular show and because of its popularity it would have attracted people from all across the viewing spectrum. The nature of show is aimed at giving to the audience more than just the big explosions and machine guns that many war movies have been prone to glamorise. The basis of this series was the hugely popular film "Saving Private Ryan" and because of the foundations this film laid out it was easier for this series to gain acclaim. Its very possible that people who enjoyed the film would have tried to see whether Band of Brothers could live up to it. The film used huge Hollywood stars such as Tom Hanks...
