Examine a film you have studied with regards to aesthetics, politics and its historical context. Films and the media are a good way of interacting with people and audiences. The way actors and real life celebrities are represented, people start believing they are them or want to be like them. Through films, we as the audience can feel many different emotions such as sadness, tears, happiness and laughter, and this is done through the characters we are introduced to whom we feel we can relate to. Today we live in a mediated society where many of our ideas and ideology about the world, and most importantly our values, come from beyond our individual daily experiences; usually this is via the media and our access to films.
