How and Why is the Package Important for the Creation and Marketing of a Film? One of the most important parts of making a film is the Package. It is what a producer will create to present to studios and potential investors in order to raise money to create the film. It is made to interest people who may put money towards it. It must convince these potential investors to think that the film will be successful. The package usually includes: * actors who have shown interest in the film or who may be suitable for the film, * possibly a director, * a draft script or synopsis, * technical ideas e.g. music, special effects etc.., * and a general proposal which gives a basic outline of the whole film.
