How Do The Opening Scenes Of Baz Luhrmans 'Romeo and Juliet' Attract and Maintain Audience Attention For my GCSE media studies coursework I have been studying the film 'Romeo and juliet' directed by Baz Luhrman, written by William Shakespeare. The aspects of the film that I have been studying are: The music, how the characters are introduced, the setting, the use of colour, the subtitles and how the story is told before the film starts. Although I have been studying six aspects of the film I have chosen to focus on just three. The three that I have chosen are: The music, the use of colour and the subtitles. I have chosen to concentrate on these aspects because I think that they have the greatest impact on the film.
