Have a little read: ... My essay on the film Shrek Shrek The main character of the film is Shrek, who is an ogre. Also he is a typical ogre and washes in swamps, in addition he cleans his teeth with an awful looking green jelly and looks disgusting. However in the course of the film we see that in some ways Shrek is more like the hero in a fairy tale, the prince, he is kind, gentle and brave. Also he likes to do painting and reading. Princess Fiona At the start of the film Princess Fiona is shown as a stereotypical fairy tale princess, who is looking for the perfect rescue by the perfect rescuer to be the perfect husband.
