Directors put this in films to keep the viewer on the edge of their seat and they are trying to get the viewer guessing whats going to happen next. This is important in the horror genre because if you killed off the killer straight away there would the no film so they keep you in suspense from the beginning. There are different types of films in the horror genre. Psycho is a psychological horror and jaws is a horror disaster film with lots of blood and gore. They were also made at different times psycho was made in the 1960s by Alfred Hitchcock in black and white, this was a low budget movie whereas jaws was made in 1975 in colour by Steven Spielberg this was a very high budget film,...
