Compare the representation of 3 characters in Mon Pere Ce Heros with its American remake My Farther The Hero When Mon Pere Ce Heros was released it was directed mainly at a French audience although it was released in other countries. The films categorised genre was comedy/drama it was quite a popular film so a few years later American producers and Disney decided to make a re-make of the film for Americans. The film would be called My Farther The Hero and its genre would be comedy/romance this is because the producers wanted to mainly aim this film at children aged around 6 to 12 and there parents because parents would have to go with the children at this age.
