Media Coursework First Draft In most traditional fairytales there is a good character and a bad one. The bad character is usually ugly with a distinctive feature like a scar. These characters usually put a beautiful woman in danger or distress. The good character, the prince traditionally rescues her after defeating the evil villain. The prince is usually good looking, charming and accompanied by an accomplice, usually a horse. These fairytales traditionally end happily with the prince marrying the princess, most classic fairytales start with the line: "Once upon a time" as does and ends with the line: "They lived happily ever after". Traditional fairytales also contain dramatic rescues, magical castles and a twist. Most films follow the same theme throughout, not just children's fairytales but all types of genre of film/story. The good character is always defeats the bad character and ends happily ever after. They very first children's story...
