Kristy Hahn October 7, 2003 Citizen Kane drew me in as a viewer in a way that not many other films have done. Being that it was shot in 1941 and the fact that the film industry was making big strides at that time, I don't know if I'll ever be able to truly take in the full impact that the movie and its use of film techniques created for the audience. The camera's point of view when it is set up for shooting, the relative depth, height, or width at which an object or an action is photographed or the angle from which the camera views the subject determines not only what will be included in any particular shot, but to a large extent how the audience will view it.
