By referring to at least one fiction film and at least one documentary outline the similarities and differences in the film language The fiction film which I am going to use to compare and contrast is the original Alfred Hitchcock's 'Psycho'. I have chosen to use this film as I know that Alfred Hitchcock is famous for his use of sound and camera techniques in his films and so I believe that 'Psycho' is a good choice of film to compare to a documentary. The documentary that I am going to compare 'Psycho' to is called 'Jack the Ripper' which is one of a collection of documentaries on 'London Legends'. The documentary is filmed on location in London and is presented by Richard Jones. Hitchcock's 'Psycho' is about a motel owner, Norman Bates, who lives in a big, old house on top of a hill near the motel. He gets very few customers...
