Production Log Part 1 - Brief and Research into Similar Media Texts: The product brief was to create the opening few minutes of a new film thriller, making sure that it was over two minutes and including titles. As soon as we were given this task we decided that we should do some research so that our end product was within the "thriller" genre. We decided to get together and one evening sat down and watched four films that were given the "thriller" genre title. The films we watched were, "Unbreakable", "Silence of the Lambs", "Seven" and "The Sixth Sense". We specifically studied the opening sequences watching the beginnings of each film three times each.
