Joe Chadwick; 10L Bias nearly always exsists within the media, whether it be radio, newspaper or the tv there is almost always going to be some element of bias. I will be examining how bias has been used to present Derek Bently in two media texts. The first being a news paper article from the Daily Mail and the second being the film about Derek Bently, "Let him have it". In case you are wondering who Derek Bently acctually was, he was a young man of 19 years who was sentenced to death after taking part in a break in with a 16 year old boy Christopher Craig. However one police man was killed and one injured in this break in by Christopher Craigs gun. Both Craig and Bentley were arrested, Craig getting 10 years imprisonment and Bentley getting sentenced to death due to him being an adult. Apparently...
