Analysing the Opening sequence of Rear Window 'Rear Window' is a murder mystery film, directed by Alfred Hitchcock. Alfred Hitchcock is well known for his directing of the shower sequence in the film "Psycho," which was filmed later on in Mr. Hitchcocks directing career. 'Rear Window' was first released in 1954, staring James Stewart, Grace Kelly and even Alfred Hitchcock in the background as an extra. L.B. Jefferies is a professional photographer who has been immobilized by a broken leg due to a racing car crash, which he was taking photos of, this was because his boss wanted a "drastically different" photograph. Jefferies is confined to his apartment and starts spying on his neighbors. As a result of his voyeurism, Jefferies soon discovers something suspicious in the apartment opposite his, occupied by Lars Thorwald, embarking on a sinister murder mystery.
