The cinema trailer for Mission Impossible 2 (or M:I-2 as it's formally known) effectively advertises the film because it is specifically designed to appeal to the main cinema going audience (16 - 23 year olds). Who are the target audience for the "High-octane, white knuckle, eyelash-scorching, screen sensation," that is M:I-2. The soundtrack to M:I-2 is extremely important in the advertising the film to the target audience. As the main theme tune is a revamped version of the old soundtrack, preformed by Limp Bizkit.
