Alfred Hitchcock's classic thriller Psycho was first screened in 1960 and since has become one of the most popular films of all time. Hitchcock pulls together tension, empathy and drama to make Psycho a well crafted exciting film. Alfred Hitchcock made a big hype about the 'must see movie' and kept the viewers in suspense by making the movie black and white. That was not the only reason Hitchcock made the movie black and white but also because it was cheaper. Posters were put up everywhere and they had a bold title. The famous actress who played Marion had her name in bold on the poster so people would want to see the movie.
