Eddie Poole After looking at our film there were certain connotations that could be drawn from it. Firstly it is clear from the first scene that our film was that of low budget. That can simply be told through the way in which the shot appears to be. With high budget productions the picture is always much clearer and sharper due to technicalities with the camera used in the filming. Another signifier of our films low budget was the lighting. As is sound, lighting is an integral part of any film shoot set-up, such lighting companies as 'Leigh lighting' that work on many north western productions ensure that not a shot goes by without the desired light effect for each shot.
