TITLE: A REPORT ON THE DEATH OF MR DAVID SMITH. TERMS OF REFERENCE: I have been asked to write a report by The Crown Prosecution Service on the incident taken place on the M602 motorway and Regent's road, Salford. At 7.45AM, on the 20th May 2004, David Smith was found unconscious on the grass verge at the junction of the M602 motorway. He was badly bruised and obviously been the victim of a hit and run or a violent attack. Motorway workmen found him; they called an ambulance straight away. When the paramedics arrived, they established that was still alive but was losing a lot of blood internally. They took him to the hope hospital where, at 8.30, Mr Smith died from his injuries. The following items were found on Mr Smith's person: 1. A wallet containing various photographs and cards- no cash- no credit cards. 2. A set of keys 3. A...
