As our founding fathers began laying the foundation for our country's future many years ago, they realized the true importance of our need for stability. The U.S. Constitution, our country's blueprint for success, has been the framework of support that has held our country together through all the trials and tribulations that have been endured over the years. These foundations, becoming increasingly more important the older they get, were not intended for change yet changes have been made. Although some of these changes have been necessary for our country's growth, if our Constitution had been constantly amended it would have no original ideas, no foundation. I feel that too many amendments would only prove to be a slow game of "Jenga", eventually causing our country to fall to pieces. An example would be Alabama's state Constitution, which has over 700 amendments. It is not only a burden, but also...
