The strengths and weaknesses of Russian Federation's judicial system. The judicial system of Russian Federation is rather complicated. It goes with out saying that it has its weak points. However one can mention general problems that refer to the whole system and smaller problems that are important for a special field. Among general problems there are: corruption, lack of financing, low level of court staff. These problems provide negative background for all improvements of the system. Because of widespread opinion that the system itself is not just people prefer to solve their problems themselves. It's not a tradition to go to the court. Even during Ancient time philosophers used to say that law is similar to spider's net: stronger ones tear it meanwhile weak are caught by them. It's vital problem even now and almost everywhere.
