When you decide that you would like to work in the legal profession, the most important decision to make, has to be, whether you would like to become a Solicitor or a Barrister, then you can go on to think about which area of law you would like to practice in. although there are similarities, the work of a solicitors and a barristers has fundamental differences. One of the main differences is that barristers can present cases in the higher courts.
