10 Dec. 2003 Law Law has existed since the beginning of time. There has always been some kind of ruling body that has regulated over people and things. This "body" was not always human or visible, but its presence has always been around. Since the beginning of time there has always been some kind of rule or order that people have lived by. Today law is defined as all the rule of conduct established and enforced by the authority legislation, or custom of a give community, state, or other group (Webster's). There are many kinds of laws. Aristotle believed in two; St. Augustine, 3; and St. Thomas Aquinas, 4. Aristotle believes in two types of law. He says there are justice by nature and justice by law. Aristotle explains justice by nature as being the same everywhere. He uses the example of fire. Fire burns the same in China, he says....
