This issue has been a huge topic of debate as many people have different opinions as to whether it should be televised. I will comment on the pros and cons for having cameras within courtrooms. Ministers have already started to draft plans to allow cameras into appeal court hearings, lord hearings and judicial reviews, so it can be televised on British television. Most senior judges are against the televising of trials in courts, as they believe the cameras presence will intimidate the witnesses and it may affect their testimony.
