EMOTIONS AND / OR RATIONAL KNOWLEDGE Emotions only get in the way of rational thought. When emotions support the knowledge they can also prevent it too. Emotions are really essential because we cannot give decisions without them as the 'Elliot Experiment' mentions. People are very sensitive to their relatives or close friends. However , if the situation is not proper to use emotions like being a doctor, sportsman or a lawyer, you should not use them because it affects the way you give the decision completely. For example when a football player plays against his/her old team and old mates he/she can use their emotions but he/she should do his/her best to win and to be successful. He/she can hurt the old friend but she/he has to. It is not like having fun because you are doing a job and you should be successful. These words said by...
