The doctrine of judicial precedent is at the heart of the common law system, thus it is necessary to review common law system as a glance. On 3, June 1992 the High court of Australia delivered its judgment in the case of Mabo v the state of Queens land, holding that the common law of Australia recognized native title. It is known that common law is imported from England. Common law is one of two sources in Australia. The legal principles are developed by judges through case law.
