Equal Opportunities 2) Introduction: This report is about the equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory practice observed in a nursery placement. I will be looking at how individuals, teams and the whole organisation tackle discrimination in the placement and promote equal opportunities. I will also study and outline the main points about some of the government acts which are designed to reduce discrimination and promote equal opportunities with in work placements and the whole of Britain. 1 3) Concept: Equal Opportunities Equal opportunities can be defined as an individuals right to have equal access to provisions and services. This means that everybody should have the right to the access of the services irrespective of gender, race, age or ability. All members of the teams at my nursery placement are responsible for ensuring no child or other member of the team is discriminated against in any way.
