To a normal person the term reckless can mean many things such as irresponsible, careless and unthoughtful. However, in general it has one meaning, which is committing yourself to something dangerous without caring about the risks and the possible outcomes that may occur from ones actions. Since 1952 the word reckless has been a very much-debated term, especially since it has so many different meanings and extensions within the word it self, this on the other hand only applies in criminal law.
