LW2041: Criminal Law The question concerned is whether Amina is liable for the murder of Yasin and Khadija. In order for Amina to be liable for murder the Actus Reus and Mens Rea have to be satisfied and also defences such as provocation and diminished responsibility need to be considered. There is no clear definition of murder, as it has yet not been defined by parliament.
